Why none politician had made Vitamins and Supplements be under control of FDA ?

If people were aware about what is really in on their vitamins and supplements, don’t you think that those diets supplements would not be able to lead peoples health wrong ? I think if people had paid what they have paid to become healthy is because they are intended to do and the Vitamins and Suplements Industries are highly responsable for the bad shape of american health.
